A very attractive map of Suffolk with inset of Ipswich enclosed in an elegant border. On the right of this, is a pictorial reference to Bodicia, Queen of the Iceni who occupied the area today known as East Anglia. On the left stands a Roman General. Numerous coats of arms of the Dukes and Earles of Suffolk and Clare adorn either side. At the bottom left, a cherub holds dividers over the scale, on the right a cupid holds a wind rose.
