A stunning bird's eye view looking over Rochester from the West, from a position above Stroud, with Sheerness and Brampton in the distance. There are three views at each side; on the left: Mr Watt's Hospital for Poor Travellers; Rochester Bridge and Castle; & The West Front of the Cathedral. On the right: The Mathematick Free School Built & Endow'd by the late Sr Ioseph Williamson Bart.; The Court Hall; The Market House built by ye late Sr Cloudy Shovel. Title along top edge with coat of arms. It was published for Harris's History of Kent, but did not appear in many editions of it.
