An attractive map with with the colouring emphasizing the different districts of Japan. The map is very similar to the map of the same name shown in Walter's Japan (cat81, p197) for Charlevoix's Histoire du Japon, but the ornamental cartouche is different, the map itself, and the area covered by the map is slightly smaller.
