Proof before printing aside from the edition of 75, signed and dated lower left in red felt tip by Lowry, letter C in pencil lower right. Stanley Jones of Curwen Studio was outsourced by Ganymed as printers for Lowry's first and largest work in lithography which was printed from a zinc plate. From the estate of Carol Ann Lowry, the painter's "adoptive goddaughter", to whom his estate was bequeathed. Two colour zinc lithograph on WT & CO. Kent watermarked heavy wove paper. Sheet size: 97.5 x 64 cm. Creasing to edges, not affecting the image. Presented in a black gesso and gilt frame with conservation acrylic glazing.
