Two attractive maps in one. The upper map is of Switzerland, the lower shows Geneva, and all its fortifications. The Geneva map is flanked by lists of the important streets, gates, churches and buildings. Emmanuel Bowen was one of the leading English mapmakers of the eighteenth-century, and was cartographer to both the French and English Royal Courts.
