An attractive map, embellished with a small but decorative title cartouche in the lower right corner. Thomas Kitchin was a prominent eighteenth century engraver and mapmaker, in 1773 he was appointed Royal Hydrographer to the king. Size: 350 x 425 mm. Copperplate engraving with hand colour. Minor offsetting, foxing and toning, folds as issued. Good condition otherwise.
