A wonderful title cartouche, numerous compass roses, rhumb lines and galleons adorn and complement this superb map. It was issued by Blaeu, one of the most famous and pre-eminent seventeenth-century Dutch engraving and publishing houses. Published in his monumental 12-volume Atlas Major. Size: 525 x 605 mm.
