A simple, but pleasant map of The United States by the French publisher Migeon during the second half of the nineteenth century. Each separate state is highlighted in a different colour, and there is a lovely vignette of the nation's capital of Washington D.C. Published in the 'Geographie Universal'. Size: 390 x 520 mm. Steel engraving with original wash colour. Very good condition.
