A lovely perspective view of the city of Salisbury in the closing years of the eighteenth century. As you might expect, the cathedral spire is very prominent.Travellers are seen in the foreground. This view was engraved for the "Modern Universal British Traveller". Size: 225 x 355 mm. Copperplate engraving with later hand colour. Good condition.
