This poster was released by Sex Pistols management after they played the final performance on their ill-fated US tour at the Winterland Ballroom, San Fransisco, 14 January, 1978. The ripped-up photo of Johnny Rotten opening a can of lager with the rest of the band was taken at the entrance of EMI's car park after the Sex Pistols had signed their contract on 8 October 1976. Vernon was the record company's official photographer. Glenn Matlock, the original bass player, has been replaced with a picture of Sid Vicious, who took over playing bass in February 1977.
