The map corresponds loosely to the Belgian province of Hainault (Hannoniae) and parts of northern France, including the towns of Douai, Valenciennes. It shows the towns, roads, rivers and forests in detail. Coat of arms, surrounded by three soldiers, two on horseback at top right. 2 scales at left Copper engraving. Later colouring. The map itself is in excellent condition. Upper and lower margins have brown paper tape marks near centrefold. Closed tear (1cm long) on upper edge, not affecting map Size: 55 x 47 cm.
