Attractive view of Marlborough House with visitors. Marlborough House was used as a gallery for Robert Vernon's large collection. Vernon's collection was bequeathed to the National Gallery in 1845. Published in 'Architectural Beauties of London'. Engraved by Le Pettit. Size: 190 x 250 mm. Mounted size: 400 x 450 mm. Steel engraving. Hand coloured in watercolour. Very good conditon.
