A very handsome map of Switzerland, as it stood in the middle of the nineteenth century. The map is well set out and it is easy to read. As befits its purpose, rivers, towns villages and cities are prominently displayed. Published for Crutchley's "Central Atlas" primarily for for school and private tutition useage. Size: 385 x 470 mm. Steel engraving with original wash colour. Fine condition.
