A delightful 'front on' view of Badminton House in Gloucestershire, the seat of the Dukes of Beaufort since the eighteenth century, after their former ancestral home, Ragland Castle in Monmouthshire was ruined during the English Civil War. Published in the multi-volume work entitled "Les Delices de la Grande Bretagne & L'Irlande". Size: 160 x 175 mm. Copperplate engraving with later hand colour. Fine condition.
