A very handsome map of the Austrian Empire, as it stood in the middle of the nineteenth century. It stretched from Bohemia in the north to Dalmatia in the south, from the Tyrol in the west to Transilvania in the east. Published for Crutchley's "Central Atlas" primarily for for school and private tutition useage. Size: 385 x 475 mm. Steel engraving with original wash colour. Fine condition.
