This is a most pleasant and informative county map of Herefordshire by the eminent late eighteenth century English cartographer, printer and publisher; John Cary. This map was published in the second edition of his very popular: "A New and Correct English Atlas". Size: 300 240 mm. Copperplate engraving with some later hand colour. Minor ink marks to lower left plate mark, however, in very good condition.
