A beautifully engraved map of Germany and almost all of Central and Northern Europe. Attractive cartouche in the lower left-hand corner. Rizzi-Zannoni was a geographer and astronomer, who became the Chief hydrographer to the important Dépôt des Cartes et plans de la Marine. He worked closely on Lattré's 'Atlas Moderne', together with Bonne and Janvier.
