Edition unknown. Colnaghi's art dealership in London received nine impressions from Sickert on a sale or return basis in 1923. The unsold prints were returned to the artist in 1924. Second state with text in cursive writing, "To, T. W. Barrett in grateful and affectionate hommage for countless hours between 1885 and 1922, cheered and sweetened s in reverse by his gentle and reticent wit, his exquisite and loveable personality - his sincere s in reverse admirer Walter Sickert". Inscribed lower right in pen by Sickert "To Robert Jackson, W. S." T. W. Barrett appeared on the music-hall stages as a comedian between 1885 and 1922 and Sickert made two etchings of the performer after his death.
