This magnificent map of Scotland is in two parts, north and south. The north part has two inset maps of the Shetlands (top left) and the Orkneys (top left). The map is from John Cary's Universal Atlas. The high standard of design, printing, and geographical accuracy has led many to consider Cary the finest of English map-makers.
