Decorative sheet containing two maps: The upper map shows Trinidad, the lower map showing British Guyana according to Sir Robert Schomburgk. There are nine vignettes showing scenes, people and wildlife from the region, including a view of Georgetown, parrots, sugar cane, humming birds and waterlilies. Published in The Royal Illustrated Atlas of Modern Geography, by Archibald Fullarton & Co. Steel engraving. Later colour. Very good condition. Top edge slightly shaved. Size: 31 x 46 cm.
