Description
Drawn from Tasso's Jerusalem Delivered by J Collins (c.1725-1758/9), engraved by Antony Walker (1726-1765), and published by Collins's wife Elizabeth Jane after his death. Torquato Tasso (1544-1595) was an Italian poet, author of Aminta, Rinaldo and Armida published in 1562, and Gerusalemme Liberata, finished in 1575.
