An attractive and detailed map of the county, engraved by John Ellis, similar in design and execution to those by Thomas Kitchin, issued in his 'England Illustrated' in 1764. From Ellis' English Atlas; printed for Sayer and Carrington Bowles. This map features a small but pleasing title cartouche. Size: 210 x 265 mm. Copperplate engraving. Map has been cleaned, otherwise in good condition.
