This map of Middlesex by Ellis, closely resembles that map of the county by Thomas Kitchin, published only a few years earlier. The cartouche differs, and that of the publisher at the foot of the map. Size: 205 x 265 mm. Copperplate engraving with later hand colour. Minor foxing and age toning, but otherwise in good condition.
