A clear and concise map of Artois in northern France. Pictorial cartouche at top right, with soldier under a tree watching workers gathering corn. Two cherubs at lower right over the mileage scales. Nicely coloured. Major towns highlighted in red. Copper engraving. Later colouring. Repair to right margin, worming on lower margin at centrefold, otherwise in good condition. Size: 56 x 46 cm.
