A very detailed and large scale map of what was the Spanish Netherlands, and what is essentially modern day Belgium and most of Luxembourg by the well regarded and gifted cartographer and engraver, Herman Moll. The map shows all towns and villages, abbeys and monasteries throughout the provinces. A very decorative and ornate cartouche is dedicated to 'His Grace James Duke of Ormond, Captain General of Her Majesties forces &c..' The right flank of the map shows a (continuation) map of southern Luxembourg, a map depicting all the major roads northwards out of Paris and a 'plan of all manner of works used in Fortification, with the method of attack..'
