Le Rouge was a competent Parisian publisher and compiler of maps, eventually becoming the 'Ingénieur Géographe du Roi'. This is his concise map of Portugal, with each region coloured separately from his atlas; Atlas Nouveau Portatif à l'Usage des Militaries '. Size: 295 x 220 mm. Original copperplate engraving in original colour. Slightly soiled and marked, some mild toning, but otherwise in good condition.
