Signed by the artist. One shows The Second Army TAC Headquarters in 1944, the other military traffic, aircraft and barrage balloons in the Low Countries, both signed below the image in capital letters. These drawings appear to date from the late summer or autumn of 1944, when Dempsey's Second Army was advancing through the Low Countries, following the breakout from Normandy and when advancing towards Germany itself.
