The map features a pair of stylish title cartouches, and a directional compass. Namur is a province in Wallonia, in the French speaking part of Belgium. The city stands astride the twin rivers of the Sambre and the Meuse. Published in Ortelius' landmark atlas the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum.
