A nice smaller map of The United States as it was in 1825. What would become Texas was still listed as 'Mexican Territory', and very little west of The Mississippi River was engraved or explored. This map was published in Samuel Butler's 'Atlas of Modern Geography'. Size: 215 x 275 mm. Steel engraving with original outline colour. Fine condition. Fold as issued.
