An attractive engraving from an important and impressive eighteenth century French botanical work by the husband and wife team of Francois and Genevieve Regnault. From their work entitled: 'La Botanique mise a la portee de tout le monde ou collection des plantes d'usage dans la medecine, dans les ailments et dans les arts'. Plants are named in Latin, Spanish, English, Italian and German. Size: 455 x 335 mm. Copperplate engraving with original wash colour. Minor rust mark to lower right margin, otherwise in very good condition.
