An attractive 'bird's-eye' plan of the Dutch town of Kampen, in Overijssel Province. Due to its convenient location between the Zuiderzee and the river Rhine, Kampen was a busy and prosperous trading town during The Middle Ages. It was a member of the important and influential Hanseatic League of European cities.
