Ken Follett is a Welsh author known for his thrilling and epic historical novels. He has sold more than 160 million copies of his works. Many of his books have achieved best-seller status, including 'The Eye of the Needle' which won the Edgar Award. Follett's 'Kingsbridge' series starting with 'The Pillars of the Earth' has been particularly popular and has been adapted into TV series. He was appointed CBE for services to literature and charity in 2018.
